The event took place June 9-11.
(Press Release) SECAUCUS, NJ – World Dog Expo, the first internationally focused dog event of its kind, unleashed a special weekend in Secaucus, NJ on June 9-11 with 10,000 dog lovers and their furry friends in attendance.
The premier three-day event, celebrating dogs everywhere, broke the mold of a traditional expo by incorporating interactive events, booths and educational opportunities for pet care professionals and the public alike. There were 1,500 participants overall in the dock diving, flyball, agility, dancing and disc dog championship sporting events and 82 pet companies exhibiting their products and services. World Dog Expo also hosted 50 breed clubs in their Breed Showcase area.
Aside from the excitement at the event in the Meadowlands, World Dog Expo was featured on over 60 media outlets, including New York’s PIX 11 and FOX 5, Z100’s Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, and several pet publications, including Pets+ and Pet Age. The expo also reached an overall audience of 4 million people on Facebook and 300,000 email subscribers.
The planning has begun for World Dog Expo 2018, which will bring even more excitement and engagement. It will again take place at the Meadowlands Expo Center on June 9-10, 2018. For more information on how to be a part of this incredible events second year, please visit www.worldexpo.dog.
