One day you go into your bathroom and you notice dark stains on part of your bathroom floor’s grout lines. What is this? Where did it come from? Sometimes, stains happen. Let the mixture sit into the grout lines for a few minutes. Then, wipe away the cleaner with a sponge and towel dry the floor. The discoloration will be gone.

Now, if the stain won’t fully go away, you can make the grout color look like new again with Grout Shield’s color sealer. You just squeeze the sealer into the grout lines. Then, spread it into the grout lines with a brush applicator or your finger and wipe away the excess with a towel or chamois. You can choose any color in the world to recolor your grout. Pet accidents happen. Whether it’s a cat, dog, or guinea pig, there’s a chance at some point in your home an animal will go to the bathroom on your floors. It could be urine or feces, and both are not easy to get out of grout.

If you see a pet accident, you need to clean the mess right away. Not only can urine or feces stain your grout, it can smell extremely foul. These accidents also can hold a lot of harmful bacteria that you don’t want to spread in your home or to settle in your grout.

Our team at Grout Shield can help you get rid of pet accident stains for good. You’ll never know it was there! Besides getting rid of the discoloration, Grout Shield products also rid the grout of bacteria and other harmful germs found in these accidents.

In most homes, grout is white or a lighter color, which means it can easily show urine of feces. Since it is porous, grout will absorb anything that lands on it. To remove the urine or feces, you want to wipe the areas up and blot the area dry with a clean cloth. Wipe the area clean of the urine and/or pick up the feces. You may notice your grout is stained a darker tint now and smells. To remove the urine and/or feces, you will want to use Grout Shield’s Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner, which cleans and lifts deep and hard-to-clean stains out of the grout’s pores.
