Restaurant Tile and Grout Maintenance

Posted by dzadmin 11 Jun 2019 No Comments »

A dirty restaurant floor is not good for business. In fact, it can turn away customers and even make you fail a health inspection. A deep clean once-in-a-blue moon isn’t enough to keep your floors looking great. Restaurants get food, drinks, dirt, debris, grease, and more dropped and dragged across them, which means you need to be maintaining the cleanliness of your floor on a daily basis.

However, you need to use the right tile and grout cleaner, or your tile and grout will never look fully clean. Grout can be very hard to clean because it absorbs everything deep into its pores. Many household and commercial cleaners are too strong for grout. In fact, many cleaners can destroy the grout causing it to crack and break.

Grout Shield makes ph-balanced grout cleaners and grout sealers specifically formulated to clean tough stains in grout and protect grout. Grout Shield isn’t just for homeowners, our products are excellent for commercial industries like office buildings, hotels, amusement parks, retail stores, and of course, restaurants.

If your restaurant floor needs a deep clean, you’ll need something heavy duty to clean your grout.  Grout Shield Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner lifts dirt out from the pores of the grout by opening up the pores. It is easy to use. First, mix 1 oz of the deep cleaner with 8 oz of warm water. Next, brush cleaner into the grout. Third, let the mixture sit on your grout for a few minutes. Finally, wipe clean with a sponge. Your employees will have an easy time cleaning!

Once your grout is clean, you can maintain it easier throughout the year with a maintenance grout cleaner. Like stated earlier, you need to keep up with your floors in a restaurant. Grout Shield Maintenance Cleaner helps grout lines become renewed and clean. It is a non-combustible, fast-acting concentrate. To use: Step 1. Dilute in water. Dilution rate is 2 oz. to 1 gallon of water. Step 2. Apply to the surface with a damp mop or sponge. After application, the cleaner will start to dissolve grease, dirt, and oil. Step 3. Towel dry the area.

Both grout cleaners come in different sizes (depending on the size of your room).

Once you clean the grout, you’ll need a sealer to protect it from absorbing all that dirt and grease again. Pick up a bottle of Grout Shield’s clear grout sealer to protect your grout and tile.

Your restaurant’s floors will look brand new again with Grout Shield!

How to Clean Commercial Bathrooms with the Right Grout Products

Posted by dzadmin 10 Jun 2019 No Comments »

Whether it’s a restaurant, park, hotel, office, or bar, a commercial bathroom gets dirty. When entering a public bathroom, it can be baffling to wonder how they got so dirty in the first place. Well, likely, these bathrooms are not being cleaned with the right cleaners. Sure, soap and a mop can wipe up spills and other messes, but they aren’t necessarily lifting up deep stains or discolorations, which can keep tile and grout looking dirty even if you just cleaned it.

Dirty bathrooms can be a problem, especially if customers or workers start to complain. You don’t want people to report your establishment or stop visiting/working with you because of your bathrooms’ dirty appearance.

The main reason your bathroom floors look filthy is the grout. Grout becomes discolored. It can even smell since it is holding on to all bacteria and other germs. Even if your staff or cleaning crew cleans the floor daily, dirty grout can keep the floor looking dirty. If you neglect the grout lines, your bathroom’s appearance will look unclean.

You want to use Grout Shield’s Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner, which cleans and lifts deep stains out of the grout’s pores. To use this cleaner, you mix 1 ounce of the cleaner with 8 ounces of warm water. Then, brush the cleaner into the grout with a brush applicator. Let the mixture sit into the grout lines for a few minutes. Then, wipe away the cleaner with a sponge and towel dry the floor. The discoloration will be gone.

Now, if the stain still won’t fully go away, you can make the color look like new again with Grout Shield’s color sealer. You just squeeze the sealer into the grout lines. Then, spread it into the grout lines with a brush applicator and wipe away the excess with a towel or chamois.

If you don’t need to recolor your grout, you should seal it to protect it from future stains. Grout Shield also offers clear grout sealer.

Check out the video below to see how easy it is to use and apply Grout Shield’s Grout & Tile Deep Cleaner and the color sealer.
